A two-year-old boy has died after being struck by a car in Derry.
The incident occurred at about 1.15pm on the Lone Moor Road and involved a silver coloured Citroen Picasso .
“The driver of the car has been spoken to by police and enquiries are currently ongoing,” a PSNI statement said.
The road remains closed
