Gardaí say they are “concerned for the welfare” of a mother and one-week-old baby missing since Friday, and are appealing to the public for assistance.
Detectives at Castlerea Garda station in Co Roscommon are trying to trace the whereabouts of Paige Holland (23), also known as Abbie Goodier or Paige Goodier, and her one-week-old daughter Nevaeh Goodier/Tighe.
They were last seen leaving their home at Westview, Cloonfad, Co Roscommon, on Friday.
Ms Holland is described as being 5’6”, of medium build with blonde shoulder-length hair. She speaks with a strong English accent.
Nevaeh, her daughter, was born on January 13th. It is not known what clothing either were wearing when last seen.
Both are believed to be travelling with Ms Holland’s partner Aaron Tighe (22), also known as Aaron Chadwick or Ian Smith.
He is described as 5’6”, of medium build, with short brown/fair hair. He also speaks with a strong English accent.
Gardaí are liaising with Tusla, the child and family agency, in relation to the matter.
Detectives are not aware what mode of transport is being used but said they may be travelling via public transport.
