Man (24) dies in early-morning quad bike crash in Tyrone

A 24-year-old man has died in an overnight quad bike crash.

The man was riding the off-road vehicle on a road near Fivemiletown, Co Tyrone, in the early hours of this morning.

The crash on the Aghintain Road was reported to police at about 5am. Police said the quad bike was the only vehicle involved.

Officers have appealed to anyone who was travelling on the Aghintain Road early on Sunday and who may have witnessed the crash to contact local police in Dungannon, or the PSNI Collision Investigation Unit on 101.

The Aghintain Road was reopened to traffic later on Sunday morning.

The crash victim was named by police as Keith Robinson from the Fivemiletown area.
