Gardaí believe a man (36) whose body was found in a house in north Cork on Tuesday morning died accidentally.

It is thought he fell through a window of the porch at his home at Ballindangan near Glanworth when returning home around 3am.

The man suffered serious cut injuries to his arm and upper body, and gardaí believe he bled to death before he was discovered by his flatmate.

The flatmate raised the alarm, and paramedics tried to resuscitate the man. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a local doctor.
