Man in his 20s dies in incident on Fife Street in the city

A male motorcyclist in his 20s has been killed in a road crash in Belfast.

The incident happened between 4.30am and 5am on Saturday morning on Fife Street.

Police have appealed to anyone who saw a motorbike in the area at the time to contact Tennent Street police station or the Collision Investigation Unit at Antrim police station on the non emergency number 101.

York Road is closed between its junctions with Skegoneill Avenue and Alexandra Park Avenue. Diversions are in place.
