An 18-year-old man has died in a car crash in Co Cavan.
The man was the front seat passenger in a car that hit a ditch on the R188 Road near Ballyhaise at about 5.25pm on Thursday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Cavan General Hospital.
The driver and rear seat passenger were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
There were no other vehicles involved.
The road was closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators
