Three people have died in separate road crashes over the weekend.
A man in his 20s died when his car collided with a ditch in Lurgans, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan on Sunday.
The man was the sole only occupant of the car which crashed just after midnight. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Saturday, a 26-year-old male motorcyclist died after he collided with three cars at the Pigeons, Athlone, Co Westmeath at about 8pm. The man was treated by emergency services at the scene but died a short time later.
A man in his 70s died following a single vehicle crash at Dromore West, Co Sligo at 2.30pm Saturday afternoon.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene after his tractor crashed at the above location. The body of the dead man has been removed to Sligo University Hospital where a post mortem examination will be carried out.
The deaths bring to 81 the number of people killed in traffic collisions so far this year.
In all cases the road is closed to traffic and diversions are in place. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have been requested to examine the scenes.
