Paris - A French Jewish leader accused north African Muslims yesterday of attacking synagogues and other Jewish establishments in France since the start of the current violence in the Middle East.
Firebombs were thrown overnight at a Paris synagogue and a Jewish shop in Toulon in the latest attacks, Jewish community sources said, bringing to about 90 the number of incidents in France since violence erupted between Israelis and Palestinians. There are between four and five million Muslims in France and about 750,000 Jews.
