Kinshasa - President Joseph Kabila of the Democratic Republic of Congo sacked his entire cabinet yesterday, state television reported.
"It is declared that the government of public safety has resigned effective today, and its task now is limited to handling day-to-day affairs," said a statement. It said Mr Kabila had acted out of concern for a social and economic situation marked by a deterioration of living conditions.
