Westmeath's John Keane is hoping that Tomás O'Flatharta remains in charge of the Lake County after being linked with some more high profile positions this summer.
Before Pat Gilroy was named as the new Dublin manager, O'Flatharta was touted as a contender and is now being linked with the vacant position in Kerry after Pat O'Shea stood down.
However, Keane is hopeful that the manager, who led Westmeath to the Division Two title this season, will remain in the job.
"We'd love to see him stay on," said Keane, who is currently in Australia with Seán Boylan's international squad. "We all realise how lucky we are to have him and we just hope that he's only sorting out a few bits a pieces.
"I hope by the time I get back that he'll have sewn it all up. He's a super manager."
One manager on the move is Armagh hurling boss Mattie Lennon, who stepped down from the role today, citing work commitments.
After three years with the Orchard County, Lennon claimed he could no longer give the job the attention it deserves.
Armagh won one Ulster Championship with Lennon at the helm.
