All-Ireland football champions Kerry will face the winners of Waterford and Clare in the semi-finals of the Munster championship following tonight's provincial draw.
In a redesigned system, both Munster finalists were seeded meaning Kerry will avoid beaten All-Ireland finalists Cork until the Munster decieder, assuming both teams progress that far. Cork will face the winners of Limerick and Tipperary in the other semi-final.
In Leinster, Dublin will face Louth while in Ulster Tyrone open their defence against Down with Donegal facing Donegal in the tie of the round.
In hurling, Brian Cody's Kilkenny will start their bid for yet another title with a Leinster semi-final meeting either Offlay or Laois. Beaten finalists Waterford must do it the hard way having missed out on a bye to the last four in Munster.
They open their campaign against Clare with Limerick awaiting the winners in the semi-finals.
