A Kerry syndicate of nine factory workers won almost £250,000 each in Wednesday night's Lotto jackpot.

The syndicate, all from the Klopman factory in Tralee, promised to be back at work first thing this morning and two of them even finished their shift on Thursday before joining the celebrations in a local hotel.

The £2.3 million lotto win was the biggest of the Kerry's 17 jackpots to date.
