Gardaí are conducting an investigation following a shooting and suspected arson attack in Co Laois yesterday morning.
Shots were fired at a parked car in Carrick, Rathdowney, Co Laois, at about 2am. A nearby house was also targeted in a suspected arson attack.
Gardaí said the property was “badly burned” but nobody was injured. No one has been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
