The driver of an articulated lorry was killed this morning in a collision with a similar vehicle in Co Laois.
The crash occurred on the Portlaoise-to-Mountrath road early this morning; both drivers were taken to to Portlaoise General hospital - but one was dead on arrival.
The road was closed for some time. It has since reopened, but motorists should expect some delays.
