A man (31) has died after the car he was in hit a tree in Dublin last night.
The incident happened at about 11.25pm on the Snugborough Road in Blanchardstown. The man, who was the sole occupant of the four-by-four vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene and removed to the morgue at James Connolly Memorial Hospital.
The road was closed temporarily to facilitate an investigation but has since reopened.
