Man (33) held over Co Down cocaine seizure

A  man (33) was arrested today following a substantial seizure of cocaine in the North.

A  man (33) was arrested today following a substantial seizure of cocaine in the North.

He was detained at an address in Bangor, Co Down, after the discovery of the drugs, with an estimated street value of £350,000 in Belfast.

A Police Service of Northern Ireland spokeswoman said the man was detained on suspicion of importing Class A drugs.

Police have yet to say where in Belfast the drugs were found.
