A 41-year-old man has died after a road crash in Co Tipperary, gardaí said today.
The single-vehicle collision occurred at Brittas, Thurles, at 7.35am yesterday.
A Garda statement said a car went out of control and struck a concrete post.
"The driver of the car, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was seriously injured and removed to hospital. He died early this morning."
The man is a foreign national and will not be named until all relatives have been notified, the statement added.
