A man charged with forgery of a bank withdrawal slip, using the account number of a Dublin company, was remanded by a court yesterday. Before the Dublin District Court was Mr Dominic Merrigan (47) of St Ronan's Gardens, Clondalkin, who is charged with uttering the forged withdrawal slip for £4,800 at the AIB branch in Crumlin on July 10th last.

Judge William Earley remanded the defendant on hail to appear again on November 20th for service of the book of evidence against him.
