A Co Clare man appeared at a special court in Limerick yesterday arising out of the shooting of a man in a city public house last month.
Mr Paul Coffey (24), Derryfada, Clonlara, was charged with the murder of Mr Eddie Ryan (41), of Hogan Avenue, Kileely, Limerick, at Cathedral Place on November 12th last.
Evidence of arrest was given by Det Sgt Jim Ryan, Mayorstone station. The accused was remanded in custody to the Limerick District Court next Thursday.
