A man died following a fire at his house in Derry early today.
Firefighters found his body on the ground floor of the two-storey house in the city's Creggan estate.
Neighbours on either side of the terraced house at Mallin Gardens were moved out as crews tackled the fire, which broke out just after 4am.
It is understood to have broken out accidentally, and the attic was well alight by the time firefighters moved in.
