Gardaí have launched an investigation following the death of a man in a road crash in Co Limerick early this morning.
The incident occurred near Pallasgreen at approximately 7am. The 27-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Limerick Regional Hospital.
Forensic collision investigators were at the scene for a time this morning but the road has now re-opened.
