A Co Kildare man, charged after the discovery of a massive car bomb in Dun Laoghaire in April, was further remanded in custody until July 14th at the Special Criminal Court yesterday. Mr Laurence Keane (41), of Cloney, Athy, Co Kildare, is accused of the possession of 980lb of improvised explosive mixture, a time and power unit, an electric detonator and two improvised booster tubes with intent to endanger life at Dun Laoghaire port on April 2nd.
