A man (24) is in Garda custody today in relation to the seizure of €70,000 worth of cocaine in Dublin.
Gardai from Ronanstown arrested the suspect at a house in Collinstown Grove, Clondalkin, at around 2am as part of an ongoing operation to target the supply of illegal drugs in the area.
A quantity of what is believed to be cocaine was seized. "The estimated value of the seized drugs, pending analysis, is €70,000," said a Garda spokesman.
"Small quantities of what are believed to be crack cocaine and cannabis resin, pending analysis, and some drug paraphernalia were also seized." The man is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
