A man is recovering after being wounded in the leg in a gun attack at his home in west Dublin on Monday night.
The 35-year-old victim was at home with his partner and two children at Whitestown, Mulhuddart, when a gunman broke into the house after 10.30pm.
The gunman and the victim became involved in a row in the hallway of the house and at least four shots were fired.
The victim was wounded in the leg before the gunman fled on foot. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance and has since been discharged.

Gardaí do not think the incident was a burglary and believe the victim may have been the intended target because of his association with criminal elements from the area.
