A 52-year-old man was in a stable condition in Tallaght Hospital last night after he was shot in the kitchen of his home in Clondalkin, west Dublin, on Saturday night.
As gardaí yesterday continued to search for his attacker, officers said they believe one gunman was involved in the incident, which took place shortly after 9.20pm at Collinstown Grove.
The victim received gunshot wounds to his arm. However, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening. A spokeswoman for the hospital last night described his condition as "stable."
Gardaí from Ronanstown Garda station have appealed for anyone with information to contact them at 01-666 7700.
