A man was jailed for six months at Belfast Magistrates' Court yesterday for threatening to stab to death a Catholic working in his local Tesco supermarket on the outskirts of Belfast on January 28th.

John Peter Killen (23), of Knocknagoney Avenue, Belfast, was also ordered to pay £500 compensation to the employee, who had to be transferred to another branch.
