The man killed in a single vehicle crash in Co Westmeath yesterday morning has been named by gardai.

Andrew Dowling (29) with an address at Keeper Road, Crumlin, Dublin was a passenger in a car which crashed at Kinnegad on the N6 between Dublin and Galway at 10.40am.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Mullingar Hospital.
