A man has been remanded in custody after he appeared in court charged with the murders of two men in Dublin last weekend.

A man has been remanded in custody after he appeared in court charged with the murders of two men in Dublin last weekend.

Brendan Molyneaux and Paddy Mooney were shot dead at Pearse House in the inner city on Sunday January 10th.

Gary Howard (22) of Dunsoghly Grove, Finglas in Dublin, was charged with the two murders by gardaí at Pearse Street shortly after 7.30pm tonight and was brought before a special sitting of the Dublin District Court.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill court in Dublin next Thursday.
