The body of a man in his 20s was found on the grounds of University College Dublin this morning.
Gardaí are at the scene, which has been preserved for forensic examination.
The man's body was found on a road connecting a student residence and the rear of the UCD library shortly before 9 a.m.
There is no indication of the cause of death and gardaí are continuing to investigate. A spokeswoman at the Garda press office said the man's death "did not appear to be suspicious".
It is believed there were not apparent injuries to the body, which has been removed to the City Morgue for a post mortem examination. The dead man has not been named.
