A man had part of his left ear and nose bitten off in a vicious attack in Northern Ireland.
The 48-year-old was walking along the Slaughterford Road near Whitehead Co Antrim shortly after 1am when he was attacked.
A woman alerted police to the incident and they have asked her to contact them again to help their investigation.
