A man suspected of planning an attack on a US office in India has been detained in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is being brought to India for questioning in relation to the attack.

Five policemen were killed when gunmen opened fire outside a US cultural centre in Calcutta in late January. Police blamed Aftab Ansari - also known as Farhan Malik - for the attack.
