Moscow - Russia's Media-MOST group welcomed the decision yesterday by a Spanish judge to release its owner, Mr Vladimir Gusinsky, on bail, ending an 11-day spell in jail prompted by a Russian extradition demand. The Russian prosecutor's office declined to comment on the ruling.
The Spanish court ruled yesterday that Mr Gusinsky, whose supporters have alleged that Moscow's extradition demand is politically motivated, should be released today after posting a bond of a billion pesetas.
