The house where the three Quinn children were killed by loyalist firebombers at the height of the Drumcree standoff this summer is to be replaced by a memorial play park, it was announced yesterday.

The terrace of six houses is to be demolished by the NI Housing Executive to make way for the children's park in memory of the Quinn brothers, Richard (11), Mark (9) and Jason (8), who died in July. Their mother was a Catholic but they attended a Protestant school.
