Jakarta - Indonesia yesterday said it will allow prosecutors from the UN Administration in East Timor (UNTAET) to question militia leader Eurico Guterres over the killings of independence supporters in April last year.
The Attorney General, Mr Marzuki Darusman, said the questioning should be held in Jakarta as Mr Guterres was already under police detention there for interrogation over another alleged offence. UNTAET welcomed the response as a positive step.
