Mother collects €7.5m Lotto win

A Co Westmeath mother collected a prize of almost €7.5 million at National Lottery headquarters yesterday.

A Co Westmeath mother collected a prize of almost €7.5 million at National Lottery headquarters yesterday.

Michelle Ryan’s son Dylan (6) picked the six winning numbers for last Saturday’s Lotto draw. She was the only jackpot winner in that draw.

The winning ticket also contained a match five prize worth €1,839, which brings her total win to €7,459,196.

Ms Ryan purchased her Lotto ticket at Kilmartin’s service station in Athlone.

Yesterday her son Dylan, her partner Tommy Joyce and many of her family and friends travelled from Co Westmeath to Dublin as she picked up her prize.
