Northern Ireland's largest food processing company, Moy Park, has announced it will invest £14 million sterling in its plants in Craigavon, Co Armagh, Moira, Co Down, and Dungannon, Co Tyrone, over the next two years.

The investment, which is backed by the Industrial Development Board, will create 192 new jobs as well as safeguard the future of the company's 500 existing employees. Moy Park, which specialises in poultry processing, is part of the US-based OSI group.

Announcing the investment, the North's Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister, Sir Reg Empey, said it would help strengthen the company's competitiveness in its target markets.
