A murder investigation has been launched into the death of a woman in Dublin on Thursday, a garda spokesperson said today.
The body of Ms Mary Whelan (27) was found at the bottom of her stair in her home at Clonard Street in Balbriggan in Co Dublin.
A post mortem was carried out yesterday by Assistant State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidey.
