Talks between Fáilte Ireland management and Siptu representatives at the Labour Relations Commission adjourned last night without agreement.
Staff in the company's Pembroke Row office in Dublin have been picketing since Monday in a dispute over their relocation to Amiens Street.
The tourism agency closed the Pembroke Row office last Friday in order to relocate marketing staff to Amiens Street on Monday morning. Some staff in the Baggot Street office were also due to relocate. The Baggot Street and Pembroke Row offices were leased by Fáilte Ireland. It owns the Amiens Street premises.
Siptu had raised concerns about aspects of the move and said these issues had not been resolved when the company closed the Pembroke Row office.
Siptu told its members to report for work as normal at Pembroke Row on Monday morning. Workers found a locked office and picketing began.
The row escalated on Tuesday when Amiens Street staff agreed to ballot to join the picket if management did not agree to third-party intervention.
Fáilte Ireland then said it was willing to engage with the Labour Relations Commission.
Talks are scheduled to resume at 2.30pm today.
