A controversial band parade in Portadown, Co Armagh, in memory of murdered loyalist Richard Jameson, passed off without serious incident on Saturday night. There were fears that the parade could reignite the simmering loyalist feud between the UVF and LVF in the area. A strong security-force presence was deployed throughout Portadown in an effort to prevent any possible confrontation.
