Ireland lock Paul O'Connell has a dental problem and will not play in Saturday's Six Nations match against Scotland at Lansdowne Road.

The Munster second row, who made his debut in the Six Nations opener against Wales, has a tooth abscess that requires surgery.

It means he will miss a second successive match after being forced out of the England game after suffering concussion against Wales.
