Rugby:Ronan O'Gara and his Ireland teammates Donncha O'Callaghan and Tomás O'Leary are all set to make their first appearances of the season after being named in the Munster squad for Friday night's match in Edinburgh.
But Jerry Flannery, Keith Earls and David Wallace will once again be forced to look on from the sidelines as they continue to recover from the injuries that have curtailed the start of their season.
Earls has yet to resume full training after picking up an ankle injury during the pre-season and is not expected to be back in action until the first round of the Heineken Cup.
Flannery (hamstring) and Wallace (back) should be available before then, as should Lifeimi Mafi and Barry Murphy.
After struggling to impose themselves, during the first half at least, against Aironi last weekend Munster will be keen to pick up points on the road.
"Our away form wasn't good last season, that's something we are very conscious of and looking to improve,” said team manager Shaun Payne today. “This weekend is an opportunity to begin that process and so it's a massive game for us."
