OJ Simpson is back in custody after it was claimed he violated terms of his bail in an armed robbery case.
The 60-year-old was detained by his bail bondsman in Florida at the request of a district attorney.
The former football star and actor faces a hearing in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
He arrived in Las Vegas yesterday on a commercial flight from Florida with his bail bondsman, Miguel Pereira and was taken in handcuffs by a police escort to the Clark County Detention Center.
Mr Simpson was granted bail of $125,000 in September following his arrest on charges stemming from what police say was an armed robbery at a Las Vegas hotel.
Mr Simpson pleaded not guilty to the charges against him in November. He claims he was trying to retrieve stolen memorabilia that belonged to him and has denied that any guns were involved.
Mr Simpson hit the headlines in 1994 after his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson (35), and her friend, Ronald Goldman (25), were found stabbed and slashed to death in front of her Los Angeles home.
He was charged with double murder and was later acquitted after a high-profile trial in Los Angeles criminal in 1995. However, two years later a civil court jury found him responsible for the deaths and ordered him to pay $33.5 million in damages to the victims' families.
