Strike action is threatened at the Ordnance Survey over a decision to dismiss four employees who have been cleared of criminal charges of financial irregularities. IMPACT has called for an immediate investigation of how the State's mapping agency is managed.

IMPACT assistant general secretary Mr Peter Nolan said the employees faced dismissal "despite the fact that all cases against them were thrown out of court".
