Racing: Outsider Bruges swooped late and fast to cause a minor surprise in the Listed Golden Fleece Stakes at Leopardstown.
David Myerscough's charge was sent off a 12-1 chance but he was always travelling well in the hands of Niall McCullagh in the seven-furlong contest.
Kieren Fallon set out to make all aboard 6-5 favourite Minneapolis and he was still in front with 200 yards to run before Bruges swept through and pulled two lengths clear.
Going Public also finished to good effect, just getting up to pip Minneapolis for second place.
Redstone Dancer made her quick reappearance pay in the feature Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Brownstown Stakes. The five-year-old mare, who is in foal to Refuse To Bend, won a seven-furlong handicap at the Curragh just four days ago, prompting trainer Sheena Collins to enter this Group Three contest.
And her decision was vindicated as Redstone Dancer came with a powerful late charge down the outside to see off She's Our Mark in fine style. Sakkara Star set out to make all but she was swallowed up turning into the straight as both Modeeroch and She's Our Mark challenged.
However, neither had any answer to Redstone Dancer's final thrust as she came home two and a half lengths clear. British raider Wake Up Maggie was sent off the 9-10 favourite but she failed to land a blow.
