Dublin road closures
The following road closures will be in place today:
• 5am -1pm: Western Way (Between Dorset Street and Constitution Hill), Dominick Street Upper, Mountjoy St, St. Mary's Place North, Granby Row, Parnell Square North, Parnell Square East, O'Connell St (west lane) O'Connell Bridge closed.
• 7am - 2pm: Westmoreland St, College Green, Dame St, Lord Edward St, Christchurch Place
• 7am - 2.30pm: Nicholas St and Patrick St.
• 10am - 3.30pm: Clanbrassil St Lower (from Kevin St to SCR). Public Transport
Dart: A Sunday service will operate with some alterations. Southside Dart specials will operate to and from Pearse Station only. Northside Dart specials will operate to and from Connolly Station only.
Dublin Bus: Dublin Bus will be diverting certain routes for the duration of the parade. From early morning to about 4pm, temporary terminals will operate at Wood Quay, Cook Street, Custom House Quay, Upper Ormond Quay, Kildare Street, Mountjoy Square and George's Quay. There will also be a Nitelink service operating on Sunday night at 12.30am and 3am.
Luas: Luas services on the red line will operate between Tallaght and Smithfield only between 11am and 2pm.
A tram will run every 30 minutes from Smithfield to Jervis from 11.15am to 2pm for passengers with a mobility impairment.
There will be extra services on the green line between Sandyford and St Stephen's Green.
Air: More than 330,000 passengers are expected through Dublin airport over the course of this St Patrick's weekend.
