The Ceann Comhairle of the Dáil, Seán Ó Fearghaíl TD, has tested positive for Covid-19 and is isolating at home.
A statement from the Oireachtas said the Kildare South TD got the results of a PCR test at the weekend and is to isolate at home until Monday, November 29th, “in accordance with public health guidelines”.
Online engagements
Mr Ó Fearghaíl is to work from home during this period and will carry out some online engagements.
His duties in the Dáil chamber will be overseen by Leas-Cheann Comhairle, Catherine Connolly in his absence.
