London - Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham, who won rave reviews with a catwalk strut at London's Fashion Week in February, was named the ultimate fashion icon in a poll yesterday.
The Spice Girls singer topped supermodel Kate Moss and pop star Nicole Appleton of All Saints. The poll was run by Channel 4 television programme She's Gotta Have It and Company magazine.
The singer and wife of football superstar David Beckham has been criticised for helping to popularise ultra-slim figures among fans, but has denied reports she is suffering from anorexia.
