A group opposing the visit by the US aircraft carrier, the JFK, will stage a demonstration in Dun Laoghaire on Tuesday, July 2nd. The Stop the Warship Campaign believes the visit has "very worrying implications" for Irish neutrality. It says the JFK fought in the Gulf War and US planes from it "were used in the slaughter of thousands on the road to Basra".
