A man was arrested today after a 30-mile chase on the North's M1 motorway.
The man (28) was followed on to the motorway when he failed to stop for police at Stockman's Lane in west Belfast and drove off at speed.
Members of the PSNI followed the car at a distance as far as Lurgan, Co Armagh, where the driver left the carriageway and drove back towards Belfast on the other side of the motorway.
More officers were deployed to intercept the car, and when it left the motorway at the Moira, Co Down, exit, a "stinger" device was used to stop the vehicle.
