Police in Northern Ireland are investigating two paramilitary-style attacks in Belfast overnight.
A man in his twenties suffered a gunshot wound to a leg at a carpark on the Ballywalter Road at 8.30 p.m.
In a separate incident, a man (18) was severely beaten by two masked men close to his house at Glencairn Way just after 2 a.m.
